Robin Kelly, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Illinois' 2nd district, recently shared her stance on various political issues through a series of tweets. These posts express her commitment to challenging certain actions by President Trump and Elon Musk, as well as addressing recent directives from the Trump administration.

On February 6, 2025, Kelly declared her dedication to opposing what she described as "President Trump and Elon Musk's unlawful agenda." She outlined her intention to protect American citizens and included a link to further details about her plan. "I am committed to fighting President Trump and Elon Musk's unlawful agenda at every turn. Here is our plan to protect the American people."

The following day, February 7, 2025, Kelly criticized a new directive from the Trump administration that instructs the Department of Justice (DOJ) to criminally investigate companies implementing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. She questioned whether diversity was being treated as a crime and characterized this move as a "bullying tactic" against inclusion efforts in America. "The Trump administration has just directed the DOJ to criminally investigate companies that implement DEI initiatives... We must resist these attacks."

Later on February 7, 2025, Kelly expressed concerns about the influence she perceives Elon Musk holds over government operations with former President Trump acting as his spokesperson. She called for Congress to take action amidst what she described as manufactured crises causing disorder in recent weeks. "Republicans once stood their ground... Congress must stand up and fight for the people."
