U.S. Representative Robin Kelly, who has consistently won re-election in Illinois’ 2nd Congressional District since 2014, posted a series of statements on her social media account between November 11 and November 12, 2025. The posts addressed Veterans Day, concerns over the swearing-in delay of an Arizona official, and calls for the release of files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

On November 11, Kelly acknowledged the service of veterans in her district: "Honoring the 29k+ veterans in our district this Veterans Day, —along with their families, caregivers, and friends. Your service represents the best of America, & I’m committed to fighting for the care, respect, & opportunities you deserve in Congress. Thank you. #VeteransDay" (posted at 15:23 UTC).

Later that day, she commented on a political controversy involving Arizona’s Adelita Grijalva: "It’s been 45 days since Arizonans elected Adelita Grijalva—and she still hasn’t been sworn in. Speaker Johnson doesn’t want to swear her in because he’s hiding the Epstein Files. He’d rather protect criminals than listen to Arizonans’ choice." (posted at 22:30 UTC).

The following day, Kelly reiterated demands for transparency regarding documents connected to Jeffrey Epstein: "These new emails make one thing clear: survivors & the American people deserve answers. Release the Epstein Files and deliver the accountability that’s long overdue. Justice delayed is justice denied." (posted on November 12 at 15:47 UTC).

Robin Kelly has maintained strong electoral support throughout her tenure in Congress. In recent elections she defeated Thomas Lynch in 2022 with over two-thirds of the vote; previous victories include defeating Theresa Raborn in 2020 with nearly four-fifths of votes cast; David Merkle in 2018 by more than an eighty percent margin; John Morrow in 2016; and Eric Wallace in 2014—all by significant margins.
