The village of Bradley board unanimously approved the village's participation in a new group fuel-purchasing program at its meeting Jan. 25.
The program, formed through a partnership between the state with the fuel management company WEX, offers municipalities an opportunity to participate in a group fuel-purchasing program that promises savings of up to 15 percent.
In addition to the savings leveraged by group purchasing, state officials said the program offers tax exemptions, fuel rebates and tools for tracking fuel consumption.
