The Kankakee County Board will meet Tuesday to announce several openings on local boards.
The board will announce six openings on the Kankakee County Regional Planning Commission, a 17-member board that considers land use and transportation issues across the county.
There are two openings on the Zoning Board of Appeals, openings on the Historic Preservation Commission for a historian and an attorney and an opening on the Kankakee River Valley Forest Preserve District Board.
The board will also vote on approving a budget amendment to the 2014-2015 budget and hear various departmental reports from November, December and January.
