The Bradley Public Works and Parks Committee advanced a recommendation to the village board Feb. 2 for a new salt storage facility.
The recommendation is based on the condition of the village's current salt storage infrastructure and the need for a better long term solution.
Committee members said the current shed has already needed piecemeal attention three different times at a cost of approximately $12,000 in total.
The committee is recommending seeking bids for a new shed facility that would cost up to $60,000. The bid would require bidders to include instructions for setting up their product.
