The Manteno board of trustees voted on a variance request from Sun Communities Monday at the Leo T. Hassett Community Center.
The trustees were expected to deny the request based on recommendations from the Manteno Planning Commission.
The board was also expected to hear committee reports and vote on approving a payment of $73,000 in bills.
