Bradley has approved the adoption of a thousand-hour standard for inclusion in its pension program.
The Village of Bradley voted Monday to adopt a 1,000-hour standard for inclusion in its pension program.
The new standard gives the village the authority to exclude non-school employees working less than 1,000 hours per year from its pension benefits with the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund. It will apply only to newly hired, non-school employees.
The ordinance passed by a vote of 6-0.
