Precinct 1613 in Kankakee County had 2,811 registered voters ahead of this year's primary election, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

In March, 1,120 of those voters cast their vote in the primaries.

Voting records show that 601 of the votes cast in Precinct 1613 were Democratic votes.

There are 16 AFSCME members who are registered to vote in Precinct 1613. In the last four primaries, one AFSCME member voted as Democrat.

AFSCME is the largest union in the country and represents 1.6 million public sector employees and retirees nationwide, according to the union's website. The union's Illinois chapter, AFSCME Council 31, has grown to 75,000 members over the last 15 years.
