The village of Manteno Board of Police Commissioners met Aug. 23 to calculate Seniority Points.

Notification of Meeting Dated August 23 at 8:30 am

Manteno Police Department Conference Room

Called meeting to order at 8am. In attendance were Scott Bertrand,

Charlie Frame, Brian Meyer and Lt Whalen

 Approved minutes from the previous meeting (Motion by Bertrand, 2nd by

Frame)

 Motion to approve the REVISED Initial Promotional List (Motion by Frame,

nd by Bertrand)

Revised list was issued due to the manner in which the Seniority Points

were calculated. While the percent of allocation toward the score is 10%,

the calculations should be in total numbers, not percentages (i.e.: 1 – 100)

 Police Commission spoke about possibly updating the procedures by

providing an example to make it more streamlined for future

commissioners when calculating scores.

 Noted there are no candidates eligible for Military Points so this list will

automatically be approved upon the 10th day of posting as the Final List
