New Business:
1. Planning Commission Recommendation on the requested Text Amendment to require a special use permit for gun dealers or shooting ranges in the C-1 and C-2 commercial zoning districts. The village is looking to require a special use permit for gun dealers or shooting ranges locating in the C-1 and C-2 commercial districts. This will provide continuity for all the commercial districts, as previously the special use permit was only required in the FB-1 district. After listening to the testimony of the appeal request, the Planning Commission will be asked to make a recommendation to the Village Board.
2. Planning Commission Recommendation on the requested final plat approval for Eagles Landing (partial) of phase 4, by Curwick XI, LLC. Mr. Curwick is requesting final plat approval for a partial development of phase four in Eagles Landing. The original preliminary plat, presented by Stephens and Hays, the original developers, was recommended for approval by the Planning Commission, and approved by the Village Board by Resolution 04-37 on 10/18/04. Mr. Curwick was granted permission from the village to develop phase four in two stages. There is a total of 38 lots in phase four and he is developing 16 lots at this time. After reviewing the request, the Planning Commission will be asked to make a recommendation to the Village Board.
