Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of Bradley Elementary School District No. 61 was held on September 14, 2017, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Board Room at the Bradley Administrative Center - 111 N. Crosswell Avenue, Bradley, IL 60915. President Golwitzer called the meeting to order and thereafter presided.

On roll call the following members voted Present: Geraci, Golwitzer, Hasemeyer, Schubert, Trudeau, Whalen and Wilder. Also present, Superintendent Goselin, Director of Finance Nicole McCarty and Director of HR/Operations, David Andriano. Also, Building Principals: Trisha Anderson and Mike Hahs, Assistant Principal, Jaclynne Tingley, Curriculum Coordinator Rebecca Selk and Director of Special Services, Lindsey Coffey were in attendance. Absent: Principal Mark Kohl.

Pledge of Allegiance was led by Terrie Golwitzer.

On the recommendation of the Superintendent, a motion was made by Hasemeyer, seconded by Schubert to adopt all items on the Consent Agenda: 1) Approve Regular Board Minutes from August 17, 2017; 2) Approve Payroll and Accounts Payable; 3) Approve Submission of ISBE Limitation of Administrative Cost Worksheet (Waiver Authorized); 4) Approve submitted exemptions to physical examinations and immunizations (religious); 5) Approve PA 097-0256 Administration and Teacher Salary and Benefits Report; 6) Approve PA 097-0609 Total Compensation Package Reporting for IMRF covered Employees; 7) Approve Imprest Fund; 8) Approve Facility Usage Request: Bradley PTA General Meetings (All Buildings), 9) Approve Facility Usage Request: Kankakee YMCA (Gym use at Bradley West for volleyball and basketballdates approved by administration); 10) Approve Facility Usage Request: Bourbonnais Park District (Gym Usage at all Buildings throughout the year- dates approved by the administration); 11) Approve IASB District Policies - On display:

A motion to go into Executive Session at 7:47 p.m. was made by Geraci, seconded by Trudeau to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, dismissal or complaints 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)); student disciplinary cases 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(9); and discussion of minutes of meetings lawfully closed under this Act

5 ILCS 120/2(c)(21)).

On roll call the following members voted Aye: Geraci, Golwitzer, Hasemeyer, Schubert, Trudeau, Whalen and Wilder. Nays: None Absent: None Motion carried.

Reconvene to Open Session at 8:34 p.m.

On the recommendation of the Superintendent, a motion was made by Whalen, seconded by Geraci to approve the August 17, 2017 Executive Session minutes and to retain the confidentiality of all previous minutes (semi-annual review as required by Section 2.060. (Minutes-5ILCS 120/2(c)(21)).

On the recommendation of the Superintendent, a motion was made by Geraci, seconded by Wilder Approve Resignations/Retirements/ Leave/Transfer (Dismissal - 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)) of Caren Holderman (Title I ParaPro P/T); Sarah Hasik (Asst Prod Mgr. at BC); Roxanne Aldridge - Unpaid Days (October 6-October 10, 2017); Ronda Peters Unpaid Days (September 11-September 13, 2017); Carol Whittington-Unpaid Days (September 25-September 28, 2017); Samantha Preston-transfer from floater to Part Time Café.

On the recommendation of the Superintendent, a motion was made by Wilder seconded 盛 Golwitzer to approve the Employment-5 ILCS 120/2/(C)(1)) of Michelle LaCost-7" Grade Girls Basketball Coach; Kevin Arthur - 7" Grade Boys Basketball Coach; Mark Kohl-8" Grade Boys Basketball Coach; Kathleen Grant - ParaPro-F/T- West; April Kocsis - Café Floater and Cheri Anunson - Recess Aide at East P/T.

On roll call the following members voted Aye: Geraci, Golwitzer, Hasemeyer, Schubert, Trudeau, Whalen and Wilder. Absent: None Abstain: None Nays: None Motion carried.

On the recommendation of the Superintendent, a motion was made by Wilder, seconded by Trudeau to approve the Employment of Substitute Teachers for 2017-2018 School Year - per the attached List. (Employment – 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)).
