Iroquois County voters approved the Second Amendment measure on the Nov. 6 ballot.
The question asked: “Should the Illinois General Assembly refrain from passing any additional legislation limiting a citizen's right to keep and bear arms as defined by the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution?”
With 100 percent of the votes counted, 7,568 were in favor and 2,511 opposed the proposition.
