City of Gilman City Council met May 17.

A special meeting of the city council was called to order by Mayor Theesfeld. Council responding to roll call were: Eimen aye, Kraft aye, Voigt aye, Elliott aye, McGehee aye, and Fancher aye. Clerk Morris was also present. Treasurer Johnson was absent.
The council discussed the purchase of certain real property owned by Michael Johnson located at 103 W. Third Street in Gilman.
Moved by Eimen Seconded by McGehee
to adopt Ordinance No. 19-20-02 approving the purchase of the following described real property for the sum of $1,000.00, with the City to pay all closing costs and the 2018 real estate taxes payable in 2019:
Lots 7 and 8 in Block 46 in the City of Gilman, Iroquois County, Illinois.
