Q3 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Iroquois County?

There were seven offenders released on parole during the third quarter that live in Iroquois County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Kankakee Times.

The data shows that six men and one woman were released in Iroquois County. The median age of the parolees was 33. The youngest parolee was a 22-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2015, and the oldest was a 49-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2013.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Joseph D. Hart. He was convicted of a crime against one or more children in 2014 when he was 29 years old. He is now 34.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the third quarter in each Iroquois County municipality.
