Riverside Healthcare is pleased to welcome Urologist, Safi Mohammed, DO. Dr. Mohammed will be seeing patients at Urology Specialists located at 375 N. Wall Street, Suite P610 in Kankakee, IL.
Dr. Mohammed completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University: Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, IL. He then went onto complete a Surgery Internship at McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mt. Clemens, MI. Dr. Mohammed added to his experience through a Urological Surgery Residency, which he completed at Michigan State University: Beaumont, Henry Ford and McLaren Macomb Hospitals in Detroit, MI.
In addition to his education, Dr. Mohammed is a member of the American Urological Association, the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the American Osteopathic Association. He is also certified in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
