Kankakee County Farm Bureau issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.
Three new members were elected Monday to serve two-year terms on Illinois Farm Bureau’s Board of Directors.
The new directors include:
*Mark Tuttle of Somonauk in DeKalb County. Tuttle will represent District 1, which includes McHenry, Lake, DeKalb and Kane counties.
Tuttle, who operates his own trucking business, Mark Tuttle Trucking, farms full-time growing corn, soybeans, wheat, sweet corn and peas with two of his sons. He currently serves as president of the DeKalb County Farm Bureau.
*Robert Fecht of Toluca in Marshall County. Fecht will represent District 7, which includes McLean, Marshall-Putnam, Tazewell and Woodford counties.
Fecht operates a family-owned grain and livestock farm growing corn, soybeans, alfalfa and cattle with his father and son, in addition to some custom farming work. He currently serves on the Marshall-Putnam County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, serving as president since 2014.
*Steve Koeller of Godfrey in Madison County. Koeller will represent District 15, which includes Bond, Calhoun, Greene, Jersey, Macoupin and Madison counties.
Koeller operates his family farming operation, Koeller Bros Inc., alongside his two nephews. The fifth-generation farmer grows corn, soybeans and wheat in Godfrey and Greenfield. Koeller is a third-generation county Farm Bureau president, and with this election, he is a second-generation IFB District 15 director.
