Crescent Township Board of Commissioners met Nov. 14.

6:30pm President Sabol calls the Meeting to order and announces that the Board of Commissioners, Manager and Solicitor engaged in an Executive Session from 6:00pm until 6:20 pm to discuss pending personnel issues.

COMMISSIONER REPORTS
Mr. Buccigrossi Parks & Recreation (report on file) Parks had their raffle and made over $400.00. Morgan Withee won. Thank everyone for a great attendance. Thanks to the Civic Club that did a fantastic job at the elections. The first Luminary Program is in place and luminary sets may be purchased at Bosetti's Hardware. Christmas movie night on December 7, 5-8pm in the multi-purpose room. There will be crafts & gifts for the kids. Two fountains have been ordered for Shouse Park. The Recreation Board will host Christmas with Santa on December 21, 1pm.
Gifts will be given out. The Parks Board is hosting the first Luminary Program on Christmas Eve,. The sets may be purchased at Bosetti's Hardware. Flyers for the event may be picked up at the Municipal Building or at Bosetti's Hardware. The Parks Board is having its first Luminary fund raiser & is purchasing luminary sets to be place from the war memorial to the tunnel.
Mr. Gagat Finance (Budget on file) Commissioner Gagat presented the estimated 2020 Annual Budget (of which final approval will be voted on December 12, 2019. The Budget is available for public view at the Secretary's office.

FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT Dennis Lewis The Department is having training every Monday. We had two firefighters complete State certification. There were few fire calls for the month. The Department assisted in the Halloween Trick or Treat night together with the Police Department. The Department thanks the Emergency Management who provided refreshments for the first responders (Leo Laffey & Danny Muller). The Department is putting a new roof on a section of the fire station with moneys from a grant awarded through State Representative Valerie Gaydos.
VALLEY AMBULANCE: Wendy Schulenburg Valley also received a grant in the amount of $75,000. to repave the much needed parking lot paving with the assistance from Representative Gaydos. A special thanks to her for taking photos of our Civic Club Chinese Auction on election night and post on Facebook.
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT: Leo Laffey (report on file) President Sabol read the report in absence of Mr. Laffey.
PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Mrs. Lockhart of 1503 Laurel Ridge Drive expressed her concern regarding the paving of her street.
Commissioner Miller explained that because of budget constraints, only a few streets can be paved each year depending upon their condition. He stated that the upcoming roads have been chosen and that her street will be looked at next paving program. Ms. Lockhart thanked the Public Works and First Responders for their excellent service.
