O'Narga Fire Protection District responded to 23 calls in 2018 - 109.1 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Onarga included 22 fires - 11 structure fires, two vehicle fires and nine other fires.

In all, the department saw $25,100 in fire loss - or about $1,141 per fire.

The department also received one false call.

The O'Narga Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $104,223 in 2018.
