Village of Bradley recently issued the following announcement.
In an effort to raise the spirits of our community, we are moving forward with plans for our 35th Annual Bradley Lighted Christmas Parade. Christmas Memories is the theme of the parade but it won’t be in the traditional way this year. The Village of Bradley has converted the traditional event to a DRIVE-THRU PARADE due to increased Covid positivity in our county. It is our hope that these changes will create a safer environment for all spectators, participants and parade volunteers.
You can still enjoy the festive lights, holiday music and waving to Santa from the comfort and safety of your own vehicle. The parade is on Friday, Dec. 4. Parading will be 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Spectators will enter Broadway from South Washington. Parade participants will line up on the north side of Broadway while spectators drive past on the south side of the street.
The Village of Bradley encourages everyone to keep all Covid safety guidelines in mind including masks and social distancing.
Any questions, comments or suggestions you may have are most welcome when you email parade@bradleyil.org.
