6:30PM Meeting called to Order / Pledge

Roll call was taken, all members present

*Motion to approve minutes from previous 5/02/22 meeting

      Motion: Morgan     2nd: Wiedl    Motion Carried 6-0-0

Public Comments: Jane Johnson spoke to the Board, offering information on option for preservation of the Pepin property, including use of the Kankakee County Land Bank. She asked that Pres Hawkins speaks to their representative for information.

*Motion to approve Bills for Payment: <5/12/22 General Fund $19,119.71, M.F.T. $2,600.00, Fest Fund $8,500.00, T.I.F. $4,780.00, <4/29/22 Payroll $14,939.56

       Motion: Morgan      2nd: Wiedl     Motion Carried 6-0-0

Departmental Reports:

Clerk Dillman: no report

Atty. Taylor: Pres Hawkins spoke of conversations with Mr. Taylor concerning the tree issue on Maple St., sidewalk/bike path to Casey’s along Rt 1, being postponed by the State

Streets & Alleys, Coats: Discussion on selling the old generators, have a possible interested person, road spray patching will begin soon, as weather permits

Finance, Morgan: no report

Sewer & Garbage, Danahey: no report

Building & Grounds, Bruni: no report

Ordinance & Insurance, Raloff: First reading held on Ordinance O-5-22-1 authorizing revocation/removal of “no parking” for odd/even street parkways with snowfall of 2”. First reading held Ordinance O-5-22-2 authorizing traffic restrictions, regulations and usage of alleys

*Motion to accept Resolution R-5-22-3 for maintenance under the Illinois Highway Code

      Motion: Raloff       2nd: Bruni      Motion Carried 6-0-0

Law Enforcement, Wiedl: in support of Police Officer Week
