State Representative Jackie Haas (R-Kankakee) expressed her joy and support for Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, which has been awarded over $10 million in grant funding from the Independent College Capital Investment Grant Program. Rep. Haas praised the university as a "world-class higher education institution" that provides educational and employment opportunities for the residents of the 79th District.

The Independent Colleges Capital Investment Grant Program, administered by the Illinois Board of Higher Education and the Illinois Capital Development Board, has allocated over $400 million in grants this year for on-campus construction, repair, and renovations.
