John E. Vaughn, Longtime Aqua Employee, Passes Away at 75

BOURBONNAIS - John E. Vaughn, aged 75, of Bourbonnais, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. Vaughn, who worked at Aqua for many years and also for the City of Houston, TX, enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, and car shows. He dedicated twenty years to serving as a scout leader for Troop 324.

Survived by his wife Michelle Vaughn, sons Joe, Steve, and Brian Vaughn, daughter Jennifer Kleckner, brother William Vaughn, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Vaughn will be remembered for his love of outdoor activities and commitment to scouting.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and a memorial service will be held in the Spring. Memorials can be made to River Valley Animal Rescue in Momence.
