State Representative Jackie Haas (IL) | Representative Jackie Haas (R) 79th District
State Representative Jackie Haas of Kankakee has been inaugurated for her third term representing Illinois' 79th Legislative District. During the ceremony, she joined the House Republican Caucus to renew her oath of office and reaffirm her commitment to serving the people of Illinois.
"I am truly humbled and honored to begin my third term as the State Representative for Illinois’ 79th Legislative District," said Rep. Haas. "Serving my community as their representative is a privilege and I look forward to addressing some of the most pressing issues facing my constituents and people across Illinois."
Rep. Haas plans to introduce legislation focused on supporting veterans, tackling the property tax crisis, and addressing various local initiatives suggested by constituents.
She was among 118 State Representatives who took the oath of office today. The legislative session will commence tomorrow in Springfield.
