Village of Bourbonnais Finance Committee met Jan. 15.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

1. Meeting Opening

Procedural: A. Roll Call - Trustee Bruce Greenlee

Meeting called to order at 4:00 PM by Trustee Bruce Greenlee

Members present: Mayor Paul Schore, Trustee Bruce Greenlee, Trustee Randy King, Trustee Jack Littrell, and Trustee Angie Serafini. Also in attendance, Clerk Brian Simeur, Treasurer Ron Riebe, Attorney Patrick Dunn, Administrator Michael Van Mill, Finance Director Tara Latz, Public Works Superintendent Terry Memenga, Public Works Assistant Superintendent Frank Triveline, Assistant Finance Director Holly St. Germaine, and Interim Police Chief Dave Anderson. Absent: Trustee Rick Fischer and Trustee Jeff Keast

2. Review and Approve Committee Minutes

Action, Minutes: A. Finance Committee Minutes from January 2, 2025

Motion by Trustee Jack Littrell, second by Trustee Angie Serafini to approve the Finance Committee minutes from January 2, 2025, as presented.

Final Resolution: Motion Carried

Aye: Trustee Bruce Greenlee, Trustee Randy King, Trustee Jack Littrell, and Trustee Angie Serafini

3. Bill Lists

Accounts Payable: A. General Fund

> Questions were discussed and answered by Interim Chief Anderson and Mrs. Latz.

The General fund bill list was reviewed and the Finance Committee agreed to proceed with payment of the bills at the next Regular Board meeting on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

Accounts Payable: B. Special Fund

The Special fund bill list was reviewed and the Finance Committee agreed to proceed with payment of the bills at the next Regular Board meeting on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

4. Other Business

Discussion: A. Community Solar Program for Municipal Com Ed Accounts

> Mrs. Latz gave an explanation about a new Community Solar program and how it could save the Village's Com Ed accounts up to 10% a year - approximately $1,500/year, with no upfront costs (on Board Docs). Discussion was had amongst the Board.

Finance Committee agrees they need to get a few questions answered before making a decision. 5. Old Business - None

Action, Procedural: A. Adjournment & Time

Motion by Trustee Jack Littrell, second by Trustee Angie Serafini to adjourn the Finance Meeting at 4:14 PM. Final Resolution: Motion Carried
