Thomas J. Lindsay, 78, of Herscher, died on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at his residence. Born on May 10, 1946, in Kankakee, Thomas graduated in Electrical Engineering from Bradley University in 1968 and later served in the U.S. Navy in Bremerhaven, Germany. He went on to build Lindsay Publications Inc., a successful mail-order book sales and publishing business. A multi-talented individual, Thomas had diverse interests ranging from photography to music, including classical guitar and watercolor painting. Survived by his sons Greg and Todd, along with grandchildren and siblings, Thomas leaves behind a legacy of innovation and creativity. Cremation rites have been performed, with a memorial visitation scheduled on April 26, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Contributions can be made to the family in memory of Thomas.
