Thrasilla E. Janczak, aged 99, from Kankakee, died on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Prairieview Lutheran Home in Danforth. Born on June 21, 1925, Thrasilla was the wife of the late Florian Janczak and a dedicated homemaker who found joy in gardening, flowers, and birdwatching. An active member of St. John Paul II - West Campus, she cherished time with family. Thrasilla is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, grandson, brother, and sister. Visitation and the Funeral Mass will take place at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home and St. John Paul II – West Campus, respectively, with burial at Maternity B.V.M. Cemetery in Bourbonnais. Memorial contributions may be made to Prairieview Lutheran Home.
