The Village of Bradley board heard a reading of an ordinance authorizing a special use permit for a new assisted living facility at its meeting Jan. 11.
The facility, proposed by River North Assisted Living, would be located on four parcels on Christine Drive and Kinzie Avenue and would provide a combination of assisted living, memory care and independent living options.
The Bradley Plan Commission, by an 8-0 vote, recommended the permit be approved after a public hearing on the issue Jan. 5.
The board did not hold a vote on the issue, and the permit is listed as pending with the village.
Board members Robert Redmond and Eric Cyr were absent.
