Kankakee Valley Park District Board of Commissioners met March 25.

The Special Meeting was called to order at 9:06 am by President Hollis. Those present for roll

call were Commissioner A.Hollis,D.Tucker,M.Mullady, and D.Skelly. Those absent were
Commissioner L.Cooper.Staff present: Director Heitz,Superintendent of Building&Grounds
Collins,Superintendent of Recreation Woodard, Attorney Coghlan. Community present:
Michael Newman.
COMMUNICATIONS
Splash Valley Round Table Director Heitz presented a power point presentation on Splash Valley. Shehad pictures of the cracks in the lazy river. Michael Newman commented that the community needs the pool. If the lazy river is the issue, can it be eliminated? Director Heitz stated the district needed input on this project from the community.
Commissioner Hollis departed the meeting at 9:20 am.
Discussion with Community member Michael Newman, Director Heitz and Commissioners ensued.
ADJOURN MEETING
A motion to adjourn the meeting was made at 9:44 am by Commissioner D.Tucker, seconded
by Commissioner D. Skelly. Upon voice vote,all ayes,motion carried.
