County of Iroquois issued the following announcement on Feb. 25.
Iroquois County Clerk Lisa Fancher has announced that the County Clerk’s office will be open for Grace Period Registration and Voting from March 6 – April 2, 2019. During this grace period, an unregistered qualified elector may register to vote (two forms of I.D. will be needed) and also a registered voter may submit a change of address form in person at the County Clerk’s office.
If a voter registers or changes an address during this grace period and wishes to vote at the April 2, 2019 Consolidated Election, he or she must do so by grace period voting in person at the County Clerk’s Office.
Office hours for Grace Period Voting are as follows: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Saturday, March 30th office hours are from 8:30 a.m. – noon. Additionally, the County Clerk’s office will be open for Grace Period Voting & Registration from 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.
