Q1 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Iroquois County?

There were two offenders released on parole during that live in Iroquois County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Kankakee Times.

The data shows that man and woman were released in Iroquois County. The younger parolee was a 34-year-old woman sentenced for a crime against justice in 2017. The other was a 37-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2016.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Matthew E. Conley. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2016 when he was 34 years old. He is now 37.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter in each Iroquois County municipality.
