Data from the class that graduated in 2015 shows 54 percent of Watseka Community students enrolled in two- or four-year programs at college or university within 12 months of graduating high school, compared to 70 percent across the state. After 16 months, the rate was 57 percent.
Of the Watseka Community graduates attending Illinois community colleges, 8 percent took remedial courses in reading, while 23 percent took them in math and 15 percent took them in communications.
